# Only Transcription - No Editing

How to create a template if you only want transcription of your podcast, without any editing?

If you want to use Cleanvoice only to transcribe your video or audio, you must create a custom template.

## How to create the custom template to only generate transcription:

-   Step-1: Upload your file and on the next screen, select "Create Custom Template".
    
-   Step-2: Unselect every feature.
    
-   Step-3: Select the "transcription" feature at the end. (You can also select summary if needed).
    
-   Step-4: Relax while we create your transcription. You can compare that your before/after results have not changed.
    
-   Step-5: Copy or download your transcript.
